New batteries that show 100% battery health, without any pop-up, and the best part is you don’t need to solder.
1. You take the old original battery from the phone you are repairing and remove the BMS flex cable. When you remove it use ceramic scissors to prevent short circuits and take of the flex.
2. Connect the old BMS flex cable to the new battery. In the bottom of the new battery you can connect the flex cable. Connect on the buckles.
3. Now you fold the BMS properly. Use stickers to hold the flex steady, then use all adhesives to cover it up.
4. Assemble the battery into the phone. If the phone won’t turn on by pressing the power button, please plug in the charger, and the phone will automatically start shortly.
5. Now the phone turns on the first time and that’s to booth the battery. When going into battery settings you will see an “important battery message” that it’s unable to determine i the battery is genuine. When it shows 100% battery and non-genuine then you know the booting succeeds.
6. Turn o the phone and turn it on a second time. This time it will show battery health and will not be any message about non-genuie parts.
After installation: – When it shows real volume and 100% health, installation is complete
Troubleshooting: – if battery health doesn’t appear (you get this symbol — ), then reboot the phone. Poor contact between the old BMS and the new battery: If the volume shows 1% in red color, means the connection is not good. Check the connection between the old BMS and the new battery and reboot.
The phone shows the battery life of the old battery: If it shows the old battery (e.g. 79%) you need to boot it manually with another battery AAA.
Then put again the new battery and reboot (this is 80% of the cases).
